About the event
In this engaging summer term course, young people will explore the power of performance as a tool for representation, resistance, and self-discovery. Theatre & Visibility is more than a skills-based class, it’s an invitation to question who takes up space on stage, whose stories are told and how performance can shift the way we see ourselves and others.
Over the course of the term, participants will take part in collaborative devising, physical theatre and creative experimentation, guided by experienced facilitators. Sessions will focus on building trust, confidence and voice, while encouraging each young person to take creative risks and draw from their own experiences.
This is a space where difference is celebrated, where stereotypes are dismantled and where the stage becomes a platform for truth-telling, imagination, and collective creation.
No previous theatre experience is needed—just curiosity, openness, and a willingness to express.
