IF ALL YEAR ROUND
Finding Inspiration in Ourselves & Our Communities
IF run visual storytelling workshops with schools and community groups, focusing on creative health and empowering participants to articulate stories of social cohesion and community through their art. Workshops culminate in pop-up exhibitions within partner organisations and in a community exhibition during each Ink and Imagination Festival.
SCHOOLS & COMMUNITY GROUP WORKSHOPS
IF workshops use comic, graphic novel, and illustration-making to convey community stories, experiences, and messages as a method to reflect, educate, and prevent anti-social behaviour and crime. This approach aims to make social cohesion messages accessible to individuals with literacy challenges and provide non-verbal exploration for sensitive subjects. Workshops are led and supported by artists and creative health practitioners.
Workshops are available to Bolton secondary schools and
community groups. Applications open soon.
